About American Terrazzo
When Mattia Flabiano (Mike) started installing terrazzo in 1931, he was establishing more than a business. It was the beginning of a tradition of service and craftsmanship that has earned American Terrazzo Company the respect of a long, loyal roster of clients.
Mattia Flabiano was a stickler for detail who liked to follow every job from the first stroke to the finishing touch. So it’s only natural that his company should expand its capabilities over the years, becoming one of the foremost terrazzo companies in the United States.
Mattia Flabiano’s sons, Luighi (Tony) and Mattia Jr., learned the pride and commitment of installing terrazzo flooring from their father and passed this tradition on to their sons. Tony’s son, Wilton, and Mattia Jr.’s sons, Brent, Darin, and Brandon have embraced the almost 80-year-old craftsmanship, commitment to excellence and professionalism that was started by their grandfather.
